I recorded my prenatal pole dancing fitness video last week at 35 weeks pregnant. It was fun! I'll have updates about when the video will be ready, which might not happen until after my baby arrives.

Pole Dancing - not just for humans! Check out this bear. (And it also demonstrates that if you don't have a dance pole yet, you can use a tree. :)

Here are some videos about pole dancing fitness exercises.

This is the most amazing pole dance routine I've ever seen. It's also a tango, one of my favorite dances. Astounding!

YES! If you see pole dancers on YouTube or in the "real world" (at a strip club or a pole dancing competition, for example), you will undoubtedly notice how fit they are. Most of them probably don't spend time at the gym working out. Instead, they develop their incredible bodies by simply practicing their routines and working on new moves.

As a fitness option, attending some pole dancing classes, or buying a pole for home and some pole dancing videos, is an option that all women can take advantage of. And as a bonus, it's super fun!

I like to say that if you can walk you can dance, and that certainly true of pole dancing. I even had a student one time who was wheelchair bound. She couldn't walk unassisted, but by holding onto the pole, she could stand and do the routine I was teaching. Talk about empowering!

I'm currently 8 months pregnant, and although I've taken a break from teaching, I am working on a prenatal pole dancing fitness video. The moves have to be modified, and some moves are clearly not feasible (spinning, going upside down, etc.), but the pole provides a great prop that makes exercising while pregnant easier.

Pole dancing is fun for every woman!
